"Postcards" - images of West Michigan and beyond Carol Cousineau’s oil pastel paintings are depictions of the beauty that surrounds her, which she finds “in a quiet stream, a local field, or a simple cottage”. Carol Brauer-Schmidt ‘s oil pastel paintings show her love of color, form and texture and “sometimes a little whimsy”.
