”I enjoy creating beautiful things for people
to wear. My ideas often come from the woods
and water where I live: people at the beach,
edges of waves, stars from the big night sky.
Sometimes my designs use only simple lines
and dots. These wire and bead shapes remind
me of calligraphy or ancient alphabets and
all the mystery they try to explain.”
Born 1950 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Lives in Spring
Lake, Michigan, where she maintains a studio and
teaches. Attended Michigan State University (B.F.A.)
Haystack Mountain School of Crafts, and Grand
Valley University (M.A.).
Member of The Michigan Guild of Artists and Artisans.
