NATURE THROUGH ARTISTS' EYES AT NUVEEN
The exhibit will feature artists working in media from pastel, oils, acrylics, watercolors, photography, and mixed media sculpture. The exhibit is on display from October 7-28. Participating artists have found inspiration in everything from birds on the beach to a winter scene, to photographs from the Hubble space telescope (a painting by Skye Gentle).
Visitors are welcome to meet the artists and view demonstration at a reception Thursday, October 21 from 5-7 p.m. For more information please go to our Community News page or visit

Community Art News and Information

White River Gallery's featured artist for November is Sherri Balaskovitz.
Sherri works in watercolor, oil pastels, acrylics, oil, glass, and metal. She will host a reception 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. November 19 in conjunction with the White Lake Area Holiday Walk. Her work will be featured from November 2 through November 30.

Four wonderful artists will share their talents in our Lievense Gallery starting October 11 through November 2.
Sharon Gutowski exhibits her series of photographs from Mexico, "So much to Say" and "From the Other Side".
Eva Narcissa Martinez and Erick Pichardo will each create an ofredas (altars to honor the dead). These will reflest the different Dia de los Muertos traditions of Mexico and the Caribbean. Roli Mancera will display a wood sculture celebrating El Dia de los Muertos.
