Suzanne Moynihan
~ contemporary jewelry and creative works since 1972

"I enjoy creating beautiful things for people to wear. My ideas often come from the woods and water where I live: people at the beach, edges of waves, stars from the big night sky.  Sometimes my metal designs use only simple lines and dots.
These wire and bead shapes can remind me of calligraphy or ancient alphabets and all the mystery they try to explain."

Suzanne was born in 1950 in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and now lives in Spring Lake, Michigan, where she maintains a studio and teaches. She has attended Michigan State University (B.F.A.), Haystack Mountain School of Crafts, and Grand
Valley University (M.A.). She is a member of The Michigan Guild of Artists and Artisans and The Gallery Uptown, a West Michigan artist cooperative.
