Skye's award-winning paintings and drawings illustrate how she sees and feels energy radiating around and through everything in life,  interacting and creating intricate and constantly changing patterns and colors.  She believes that of all the things she can do to give back to the world, her artwork is one of the best and most meaningful.

 Inspiration for her artwork comes from walking the wooded dunes and shoreline of Lake Michigan, her myriad life experiences and her very interesting visions and dreams.

Skye grew up in a family of artists, doing commissions for drawings and paintings from the time she was in first grade. She began studies at the University of Michigan as a biology student then changed to the School of Art and Design and received a BFA in Painting and Drawing. After many years of part-time artwork she has rather recently begun drawing and painting full-time. Her work can also be seen in Synchronicity Gallery in Glen Arbor, MI and in the Red Lotus Gallery in Muskegon, MI.
