 Maggie grew up in Grand Rapids Michigan and now lives in Grand Haven, Michigan, with her husband and son. She teaches art for Hudsonville Public Schools. Maggie graduated from Loyola University in Chicago with a B.S. in Education then studied, taught and worked in the Chicago area from 1989 until 1998, when she moved back to West Michigan. In 2002 Maggie earned her M.A. Ed from Michigan State University and has taken many art workshops and classes. Maggie’s paintings have been exhibited locally, and can be found in many private collections. Maggie creates representational and abstract paintings in oil on canvas as well as a line of arts and crafts style pottery. In the summer Maggie teaches workshops for adults and children in her studio in Grand Haven.
